Once I order, how long will it take for it to ship out to me?
Orders ship out every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 8AM. Excluding only custom designs, in which case we would be in consistent communication anyway. I hate it when I order something and it doesn’t ship for days or weeks. Why does that happen? Well it doesn’t with Customized Hobbies!
I accidently stretced my decals while applying and some of the black toner flaked off, what can I do?
You can fix this super easily by just lightly using a black felt marker on the flaked area. Will be unnoticeable after clear coating.
I spent hours applying my decals then sprayed clear coat on my model and the decals bubbled and melted, what gives?
Enamel and lacquer based sprays can melt the film if applied more than a light dusting. I recommend using a water-based gloss and matte clear sprays for best results. Make sure the model is bone-dry before spraying as well. I will replace one set at no cost per customer if this happens to you.
Can the decals be easilly removed after I apply them if I notice a mistake?
Definitely. Even after clear coating, the decal can be removed with minimal effort and stay in one piece.
it’s been more than ten days since you shipped my order and I haven’t recieved it yet, what’s going on?
I ship all domestic US orders with USPS first class mail, which doesn’t come with tracking. If you feel that you’ve waited too long and USPS lost your order (which happens), just let me know and I’ll send another set at no charge.
Do i need to clear coat the sheet before dipping them?
No. I user a laser printer for my decal sets, which uses fused toner instead of ink. So there’s no risk of bleeding and no need to pre-spray.
